Low Cost Car, Van and Minibus Rental

November 2nd, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Travel

Cheif Car Rentals offers Devon and Birmingham car hire and has a large fleet of cars, vans and minibuses for hire.  We were very impressed by their very competitive prices and the range of cars that they have to offer.  These include small cars such as a Ford Fiesta which are really economical, especially the diesel versions.  They also have the more medium sized Ford Focus as an alternative hatchback which is also quite economical and very comfortable.  Then you go onto the larger cars such as the Vauxhall Vectra and the MPV’s such as the Volkswagen Sharan and Shuttle.  The important point is that these are all cars made by high quality manufacturers in their respective fields and yet the prices charged by Chief Rentals are very economical.

There is also the option for minibus rental and van hire in Birmingham and Devon.  Chief have a range of minibus self drive hire options available including an international option which is actually quite rare.  You can hire a minibus and travel internationally such as to France or Ireland.  This is great for groups of friends, stag or hen weekends or  sports groups as it really keeps the costs down if there are large numbers in your group, far cheaper than flying!

Chief also have a strong van and small lorry hire department so you canget your van hire in Birmingham or Devon for your house removals or for business purposes.  They also have a short and long term leasing arrangement so that you can hire a van for a weekend or for several months.  This would be great if you were a builder for example whose van had broken down or a company who wouldn’t want to buy a van but would need one for business!

Travertine World

Travertine World is a UK based international supplier of bespoke stone products including stone baths, shower trays, wash hand basins and tiles.  The company recently featured at the National Home Improvement Show at Earls Court and had a fantastic response.  Director David Mirrow commented ‘The show was a great success for us, our range of totally unique custom made stone bathroom products was a great hit.  We’ve taken a record number of orders and our guys are going to be really busy!!

Travertine World specialises in custom made or bespoke designed applestone, travertine and limestone basins, baths, shower trays and tiles.  This is a top end product with price tags to match.  a typical natural stone bath can set you back as much as ten thousand pounds and then there is the matter of delivery and installation.  Bespoke natural stone baths tend to be cut from one pice of stone and are therefore very heavy, floors will usually need to be re-inforced.  Even the natural stone shower trays are really heavy but you might not quite need a crane to lift them.  Travertine World also have a range of standard stone basins and cloakroom wash basins that offer design and functionality at some incredibly competitive prices.
